New study finds women get higher quotes for car repair work

The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University published a new study that shows that women tend to pay more for repairs than men. Research was done with the help of male and female volunteers who called repair shops for quotes. On average, women were quoted $23 more than men. However, women showed better results when negotiating.
